The perfect schedule

I like to make one of these every few months to show what I believe would be the perfect Indycar schedule. So here it is.

1. California…………………….. 500 miler to open the season
2. St. Pete………………………..One of the few good street courses
3. Dover…………………………..ICS needs an Atlantic coast event
4. Long beach……………………One of several that needs to be paired with the ALMS
5. Indianapolis………………..Getting cars back to record breaking performance would be great
6. Milwaukee…………………..A little management fix and the stands were packed this year.
7. Laguna Seca………………….Wider would help
8. Texas……………………………Best IRL venue outside of Indiana
9. Bristol…………………………. That would be awesome
10. Watkins Glen………………..Another ALMS round
11. Las Vegas……………………..Rotating with Chicago for year end slot
12. Phoenix………………………. Indycar needs to take over this great market they once dominated
13. Michigan……………………..500 miler would be great
14. Mid-Ohio……………………..Great camping and huge crowd’s make this a must
15. Toronto……………………….Another good street course
16. Daytona roadcourse…….Interesting possibility they have tested there
17. Kentucky…………………….You could literally sit anywhere and have a great view
18. Iowa …………………………..Needs a little aero work but is still a good event
19. Motegi……………………….Hondas way of showing who is really in control
20. Mexico city………………..We also need to go south of the border
21. Chicago………………………lights added for Sunday night events
22. Surfers paradise……….. how about an all-star format winners from that season and returning veterans Michael Andretti(you don’t really think he is retired) Jimmy Vasser , Gil de Ferran,and little al , maybe Luyendyk, Alex Zanardi.

Surfers Paradise : Race Review

First an apology, I tried to liveblog from a different location that usual and it didn’t work well. Now this weekends controversy stems from the unknown state of the future of the race in Australia. I could really care less if this didn’t continue (at this date). The time and money just doesn’t make since. Now if this were to come after the Motegi race it would be a different story. It would reduce the cost and help “financially disabled” team’s. But many complain that if this race would lost we would also lose KV racing, but I am fairly sure a team of that stature could acquire a new sponsor. Now this weeks awards.

Move of the race: How about Danica Patricks (non) move on the safety team for paying attention to anybody but her
Drive of the race: People complain that I boast to much about Buddy Rice but after being in the bottom of all the practices and qualifying he still gets a top 10
Idiot of the race: Will, Will, Will far to aggressive.
Wow Award: What is it about those Canadian drivers they are just great ….Go Tags go
