Vision Racing’s Ed Carpenter joined us for a few minutes this afternoon to discuss the current status of Vision Racing and how the team hopes to progress forward from this point. Ed talks about the overwhelming support that Vision Racing fans have shown since the announcement on Friday that Vision Racing was suspending operations until a sponsor can be found that will allow the teams to go racing at the highest level, as well as the “Letter of Reference” campaign started by Lauren George and Pat Caporali. We at Planet-IRL strongly encourage everyone to write a letter of support to let potential sponsors know that the IndyCar Nation is a loyal group of fans and a family that strongly supports those companies that support our racing series.
